About Me

Surabhi Khanal, a Nepali American from Virginia, is a passionate advocate for social justice and gender equality. She won the Miss Nepal US 2019 pageant, along with titles for "Miss Photogenic" and "Miss Beauty Without a Limit." She later competed and placed top 16 in the Miss Universe Nepal pageant.

In 2023, Khanal was crowned Miss World Virginia of the Miss World America pageant, the preliminary competition to Miss World.

In 2016, she founded the Save Our Stars Foundation, which spearheads awareness campaigns on gender-based violence in Nepal. Notably, her "MedLove Clinic" project, in collaboration with the Lions Club, established an HIV/AIDS clinic serving rural Nepal.

Professionally, Khanal is an analytical researcher at a global PR firm. Her interests include poetry, photography, and advocacy for mental health awareness, especially through her support for therapy and those facing anxiety.
